Marilyn Latimer

Artistic Director

Marilyn Latimer started her dance training at competition studios in the southern NH area. From a young age she excelled in ballet and went on to train at top ballet schools such as Walnut Hill School of The Arts and The Boston Ballet School. In 2014 she received a full scholarship to train at the Alvin Ailey School Professional program summer intensive. Mrs. Latimer is well traveled and has trained and performed in both France and Scotland, performing at the Darc Festival in Chateauroux and the Fringe Festival in Edinburgh. She decided to continue her dance studies in college and attended SUNY Purchase Conservatory of Dance for two years before continuing her studies at The University of Alabama where she received her BA in Dance, as well as became the recipient of the Gage Bush England award for her outstanding achievements in classical ballet and choreography. Since moving on from performing she has been dedicated to teaching and training the next generation of artists. She hopes to continue to inspire the next generation as the artistic director of Studio 28. 

Tisa MCcarter

Dance Choreographer/ Dance Specialist 
Tisa McCarter embarked on her dance career at the Andover School of Ballet. She then furthered her passion for dance at Fitchburg University, where she not only honed her skills but also shared her expertise by teaching Hip Hop and Street Funk. At the university, Tisa also took on the role of designing workshops for students, inviting renowned artists and choreographers to enrich the learning experience.
After graduating with a minor in dance and dance therapy, Tisa delved deeper into the world of performing arts. She showcased her talent and creativity by performing in the Broadway play La Trivita for Keene State College. Throughout her career, Tisa had the privilege of collaborating with various esteemed artists and choreographers such as Fatima, Beyoncé,Jay Z, Fabulous, and Method Man.
In addition to her performance endeavors, Tisa dedicated herself to teaching dance. She assumed the role of a dance instructor at Studio 665 Dance Studio, where she not only taught traditional dance styles but also introduced innovative classes like Cardio Movement and Fusion Hip Hop across New England. Tisa’s commitment to nurturing young talent led her to coach two Hip Hop dance teams for competitions. Furthermore, she showcased her versatility by serving as the dance choreographer for the Boston Bandits Semi-Pro football team.
Currently Tisa's latest project involves Taysartnemotion involves hosting a creative dance workshop named the The Take Back Session, aimed at assisting individuals in discovering self- healing through the expressive art of dance movement.
